Dear Nikola,
As the topic of Bitcoin forks is again trending in the news and in public discussions, it’s a good time to reiterate our position regarding deviations from the Bitcoin protocol and attempts to split-off alternative blockchains.
We will not be offering the possibility to immediately withdraw funds/tokens on blockchains which are incompatible with the existing Bitcoin network, which is the one supported by Cubits and the majority of the community. In no event does this mean that we will keep any alternative coins for ourselves.
In the event of a fork, customers who wish to claim funds on any alternative chains should make sure to withdraw their Bitcoin funds from their Cubits wallet to an external wallet supporting such alternative chain before the blockchain fork happens.
We will continue monitoring developments, and reserve the right to change our position regarding alternative implementations at any point in the future.
