Falha da Bet Phoenix

This is so strange and I know it happened because it happened two times.  I only played one game and it was Ocean Dreams.  I know you have probably seen when the reels are spinning crazy and the minor and major jackpot's are spinning and going up super fast.  Anyway, this was happening since I got on the machine.  The major jackpot was like 1698.00.  Like I said it was doing that weird spinning and the jackpot was going up FAST!!  Anyway, I'm spinning away..I started with 40 bucks btw.  I notice the major jackpot is up to 1708.00.  Then BOOM...it drops back down to 1698.00 AGAIN.  I was like wtf?  So to make sure I wasn't just seeing things I played it thinking I will see if it drops again after it reaches 1708.00.  It was still doing the crazy spins.  As soon as the major jackpot was about to reach 1709.00....boom it dropped back down AGAIN to 1698.00.  After, this I logged off and came straight here.  Has anyone had this happen at any RTG casino?  I have never seen the jackpot go up, down, up and back down again to the same number.  It was the strangest thing.  I am not saying this is just a Bet Phoenix glitch but I just noticed it there.  I have had the reels do those lagging, crazy spins (sorry this is the only way to explain them) the jackpot raise super fast.  I know someone said something about this and stated they thought it was the jackpot trying to catch up.  I will have a close eye at the other RTG casinos and when it starts spinning like this I will see if the jackpot changes like it just did to me.  I still had money left in my account but like I said I closed it out because I was freaky.  Any thoughts?

This has happened at other RTG casinos, I will have to try that other thread, there was an explanation for it, but it escapes me at the moment. It's not just BP....

I have to say that I have watched the RJ at Jackpot Capital go up and down like a yoyo.  It did it so many times, I left the game.  I have noticed that when the counter is going crazy, I never win.  

Well that's 3 casinos now that it happens at.

It's a strange practice.

I played there again just now...It did the same thing on EVERY game I played!!!!

Games were:  Enchanted Garden, Achilles, Ocean Dreams, Rain Dance

Seeing this makes me nervous and uneasy.  A progressive jackpot should not go down only up, unless someone hits it.  I think this has been an eye opener for me and I will really watch where I deposit at in the future.

You have a good point Slots, but I think it is to make players think that something is happening when it really isn't. I have been reading lots of posts about this here and on other forums, and your right, I don't think it is a glitch either, when I first starting playing on line last year it never happened. Then about 3 or 4 months ago it started, and still continues. Glitch or not it makes you wonder.

agreed i deposited and played at bet today without taking a bonus (twice)and watched this happen .I didnt know if this was supposed to hppen with the rjs and your right lhofsdal i didnt notice this a couple months ago

Okay so if this is industry practice, if the real RJ is 5878 and when I spin and the counter is going up and up like a bat out of hell and I hit it at 5902 what am I going to get paid? The real amount or the 5902 it was when it hit?

And by the way I was just in Atlantic City, NJ and this did not happen on any of the progressive games I played. The Jackpot went up and never came back down.
