Hiya Guys and Dolls,
My cell phone is on it's last legs. It is a complete mess. The display window has little spots on the screen when i set in something wet. There is a little piece in the back that fell off and it takes forever to load. Sometimes when it is ringing the touch screen won't pick up the call!
Right now i have a Blackberry and i do like it (when it was not falling apart) but my cell company now offers the iPhone. I am not sure which way to go. Get a new Blackberry, iPhone or something completely different.
What kind of cell do you have and or can recommend that loads fast?

I only have knowledge of the iphone 3 and iphone 4 and they keep their owners very busy I've noticed i.e. they are always playing with them. They are easy to use and look like a lot of fun. I've played games on my sons iphone and they also have some really cool apps. Definitely worth considering Lips.

Friend of a friend bought it there but it was SIM locked and therefore useless. So I was going back and forth to find SIM free iphone4 and finally last week I got one through newspaper ads. In the mean time I was using nokia N70 and I hated it
IMO, iphone 4 is by far the BEST cell on the market and I would recommend it to everyone.

Um amigo de um amigo comprou lá, mas o SIM estava bloqueado e, portanto, inútil. Então, fiquei indo e voltando para encontrar um iPhone 4 sem SIM e, finalmente, na semana passada, consegui um através de anúncios de jornal. Enquanto isso, eu estava usando um Nokia N70 e o odiei.
Na minha opinião, o iPhone 4 é de longe o MELHOR celular do mercado e eu o recomendaria a todos. -

When I saw this thread it reminded me I bought my youngest son a cell phone for Christmas. It's been sitting on the kitchen counter since 12/25 and never used.
It was on the top of his list of 3 things he wanted for Christmas.

Thank you all for the great advice! Seem's as if the iPhone wins hands down, even in the "real world" i am being talked into it.
Now i just have to ck what my cell phone company is charging for it since my contract is up!

Agora só preciso verificar quanto minha operadora de celular está cobrando, já que meu contrato acabou!

Also it has built in GPS 3.2 inch, high def slim profile touch screen.
I still get a bit confused with it since it has so many features but I do love it especially it's keyboards.

Update on the cell........
This must of been a subliminal accident. I have been contemplating a new cell when just a few days after i made my post i spilled coffee all over my BB.
So off i went with all your advice and gave up my BB for the iPhone. All i can say is WOW! What a difference in a cell! Its like watching TV with an antenna then going to cable. It's driving a beater car and slip into a Jaguar! It's like playing slots in 3D for the first time!
It's like.........well you get the idea!! I love it. Wow puts the BB to shame. If i had to pick on the cell i only have one teeny tiny complaint, but even then i would never go back to BB....
When i get a message or email or alerts of any kind my cell doesn't have a blinking light to let me know i have a message waiting. The BB had that feature. I literally have to go in my cell if i didn't here the ding. Also some of the emails lag in getting to me. I notice when i check my cell it will suddenly add an email.
But compared to these minor complaints it is an incredible cell.

Então, segui todos os seus conselhos e troquei meu BB pelo iPhone. Só posso dizer: UAU! Que diferença em um celular! É como assistir TV com antena e depois mudar para a TV a cabo. É como dirigir um carro velho e entrar num Jaguar! É como jogar caça-níqueis em 3D pela primeira vez!
É tipo... bem, você entendeu a ideia!! Eu adoro. Nossa, deixa o BB com vergonha. Se eu tivesse que criticar o celular, só tenho uma coisinha, mas mesmo assim eu nunca mais voltaria para o BB...
Quando recebo uma mensagem, e-mail ou alertas de qualquer tipo, meu celular não tem uma luz piscante para me avisar que tenho uma mensagem em espera. O BB tinha esse recurso. Eu literalmente tenho que ir para o meu celular se não ouvir o toque. Além disso, alguns e-mails demoram para chegar. Percebo que, quando verifico meu celular, ele adiciona um e-mail de repente.
Mas comparado a essas pequenas reclamações, é uma célula incrível.

Better then blackberry you say. Got 4 more months on contract then i may join you in the iphone world. Is it as hard to learn as blackberry phone is?

No, i actually found it to be much more user friendly then BB. A lot more applications too.Não, na verdade achei muito mais fácil de usar que o BB. E tem muito mais aplicativos também. -
