I am not Irish, but I have always loved the Irish, I had my St Patrick's Day Celebration, my grandchild's birthday will be tomorrow, and I had them watch the History Channel tonight, the Irish have been thru a lot, and I can relate to that. Yes, I am a women of color, I am not black but I am brown, but I have seen a lot. The Irish went thru a lot of turmoil and they were treated harshly. President Andrew Jackson was of Irish ancestory, also, the gentleman who published the Bill of Rights thru his business printing shop was of Irish ancestry, Irish made up 1/3 of the soldiers in America who fought bravely against the British. I love history and culture but I dont like the harshness that the people had to go thru, I cried but I feel a kinship spirit with the Irish. There is so much to learn, but the country is so beautiful. A clerk at the local grocery store, who is Irish told me the reason why they have the doors painted different colors is because the men would know what home they belonged to, that was interesting, and also the reason of the color of the flag is because the war with the Catholics, and the Protestants, a bloody war. If you get a chance you should really check out the history of the Irish. The Kennedys are Irish, I am sure we all know that and my prayers go out to Teddy Kennedy, may you rest in peace and the luck of the Irish be with all of you here at LCB!
Eu não sou irlandesa, mas sempre amei os irlandeses. Comemorei o Dia de São Patrício, o aniversário do meu neto será amanhã e os levei para assistir ao History Channel hoje à noite. Os irlandeses passaram por muita coisa, e eu me identifico com isso. Sim, sou uma mulher de cor, não sou negra, mas sou morena, mas já vi muita coisa. Os irlandeses passaram por muita turbulência e foram tratados com dureza. O presidente Andrew Jackson era de ascendência irlandesa; além disso, o cavalheiro que publicou a Declaração de Direitos em sua gráfica era de ascendência irlandesa. Os irlandeses representavam 1/3 dos soldados americanos que lutaram bravamente contra os britânicos. Amo história e cultura, mas não gosto da dureza pela qual as pessoas tiveram que passar. Chorei, mas sinto um espírito de parentesco com os irlandeses. Há muito o que aprender, mas o país é tão lindo. Um balconista irlandês do supermercado local me disse que a razão pela qual as portas são pintadas de cores diferentes é para que os homens saibam a que casa pertencem, o que foi interessante. A cor da bandeira também é por causa da guerra com os católicos e os protestantes, uma guerra sangrenta. Se você tiver oportunidade, deveria realmente conferir a história dos irlandeses. Os Kennedy são irlandeses, tenho certeza de que todos sabemos disso, e minhas orações vão para Teddy Kennedy. Que você descanse em paz e que a sorte dos irlandeses esteja com todos vocês aqui na LCB!

Lips, only a pot of (short-time assigned) work.
Since there are no jackpots in there for me, I still have to go for these.
So let´s set up our next party fanciing (or is it "fancying") about dancing into may and/or labour day.
