With St. Patricks day fast approaching, i thought it would be fun to add some lucky charms when we gamble:
Lucky Charms
Horseshoes
The most recognizable symbol of good luck is that of the Horseshoe. Placed upright, on a front door it is believed to allow good luck to enter your home.
Shamrock
The three leafed clover of the Shamrock symbolises not only the Holy Trinity but also health, wealth and happiness. The 'luck of the Irish' has always been associated with the wearing of the Shamrock.
Acorn
The Acorn is of course the nut of the Oak tree. Carrying a fallen Acorn is believed to ensure youthfulness to the owner and can attract both wealth and love.
SPITTING
Gamblers spit on their hands to guarantee luck.
Elephant
For the best luck and prosperity, decorate with an elephant, especially one with its trunk raised. The elephant represents intelligence, strength and kindness – for extra luck, get a statue that’s holding an ear of corn, which represents abundance.
Sneezing
Sneezing first thing in the morning.
Sneezing to the right.
STAIRS
Tripping while going upstairs.
PRAYING MANTIS
Seeing a mantas...Some believe that a praying mantis kneels when angels are near.

As a charm or an ornament.

Lately I have a gold ring I wear strictly to the casino or when I am spinning. It is two dice, side by side. Fake diamonds for the dots on the dice.
Looks like something Elvis might of worn, HAHA
But I wear that and consider it my "Lucky charm" ring.
So far the only thing I can get it to do for me is look cheap on my finger. lol

Ultimamente, tenho um anel de ouro que uso exclusivamente para ir ao cassino ou quando estou girando. São dois dados, lado a lado. Diamantes falsos para os pontos dos dados.
Parece algo que Elvis poderia ter usado, HAHA
Mas eu uso isso e considero meu anel "amuleto da sorte".
Até agora a única coisa que consegui fazer foi parecer barato no meu dedo. rsrs

I have always considered #5 as my lucky number.
Yes, I try and find the fifth space from a curb section for parking (Yes, I have searched a lot for 10 min to find it..Thought I was going to say 5 min didn'tcha?

I NEVER shave before going to a casino...No matter if it's been one day or a few months.
I ALWAYS shower...I have been in some casinos that "A few" players reeked,,,
I ALWAYS fill my car gas tank and check oil before going also (Better to not worry going home with a low tank)
I always check my attitude (Usually) "I am going to have fun and relax, if I win, all the better, but if I lose, I knew the odds before going"
That's (Usually) what I do, I learned the hard way about gas.Sempre considerei o número 5 como meu número da sorte.
Sim, eu tento encontrar a quinta vaga em um trecho de meio-fio para estacionar (sim, eu procurei muito por 10 minutos para encontrá-la... Pensei que ia dizer 5 minutos, não é? )
EU NUNCA me barbeio antes de ir a um cassino... Não importa se faz um dia ou alguns meses.
Eu SEMPRE tomo banho... Já estive em alguns cassinos onde "alguns" jogadores fediam...
Eu SEMPRE encho o tanque de gasolina do meu carro e verifico o óleo antes de ir também (é melhor não se preocupar em voltar para casa com o tanque vazio)
Eu sempre verifico minha atitude (geralmente) "Vou me divertir e relaxar, se eu ganhar, melhor ainda, mas se eu perder, eu sabia das probabilidades antes de ir"
(Normalmente) é isso que eu faço. Aprendi da maneira mais difícil sobre gás. -

My lucky charm is talking to what i call my "angel of luck"! When i am down to my last dollar i will say to myself ..."ok angel of luck if your around i could really use your help just about now"!
Sometimes it works...........sometimes she is just too busy.......he he he!

I guess mine really isn't a good luck charm, but a keep the bad luck away ritual! lol
No matter who I go with (My mom, man, sister or best friend) I tell them from the beginning, DO NOT ASK ME HOW I AM DOING, DONT EVEN TALK TO ME IF I AM AT A TABLE OR MACHINE. HEHE
My mom thought I was joking and she came and sat by me at my aunts wedding in Miden, Nevada. I snapped at her, GET AWAT YOUR BAD LUCK! I know it's not good thing when I get up to casino and realize I left my money at home. Sometimes giving my machine a little kick below helps.
