Pessoas loucas e engraçadas no cassino!

Hi LCB'ers,

There are from time to time some pretty interesting characters at the Casino. I was at Rivers Casino Wednesday night to take advantage of the Free all you can eat crab night and was allowed to bring up to 3 guests at Rivers Casino.

Will have a blog about my experience there in the next few days but just had to share with you now one of the players i encountered there..........

I headed over to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Slot. Now any time the Bonus round is triggered this over-sized plush chair your sitting in begins to vibrate and move around (pretty cool). This adds to the excitement as you are launched into a rocket high in the sky passing numerous bonus options along the way in a animated screen above the slot....

Alright so the guy next to me is playing the same Slot and the Bonus is triggered and he lands the Chocolate River Bonus. This is a boat that travels through a tunnel with lots of extra credits, extra free rides and extra picks awarded after each ride (usually 2). The boat goes all over the place during this tunnel ride and you can only hope it hits one of the bonus prizes. It is a hit or miss kind of thing depending on how the boat travels through.

Soooooo at the start of this fun chocolate boat ride this guy begins going nuts in his chair, moving around frantically. I thought at first he was super excited and just sort of dancing in his chair.

The he triggered it again a few minutes later and again he is gyrating in his seat leaning wayyyyyy over one way then way over the other way. He was bouncing around like a maniac so much so i thought he was going to knock me over in my own chair then it hit me..........

He thought he steered the direction of the boat from his seat! By leaning one way or the other he would hit those bonuses along the way and it was him that manned this boat ride!

Omggggg he was a sight to see and it was all i could do from containing my laughter. It is not too often i am distracted from my own game but i had to turn and look at him in amazement cuz i couldn't believe it!

I wanted to tell him so bad that he has no control where the boats goes but didn't want to embarrass him and after all he was having fun and why burst is bubble right? Lmaooooooooooo!!

LOL Yes, it's not often that someone grabs your attention in a casino being funny and a bit silly. I'm sure you had fun Lips. Such thing never happened to me.

LOL I can picture it Lips and it sounds hilarious.

good story Lips..so many of the newer slots now have those interactive chairs..I am not a big fan of them but I can see the overall appeal for some people sort of bringing you into the adventure..your a kind person for not telling the guy the truth

and then there are the people who wipe the slot screen or hit it with their hand or pound down hard on the keys as they take their next spin..cause all that will help jolt the screen into winning or hitting a bonus or retrigger..where do they get these superstitious habits from?  I suppose they did it once and something good happened and they now believe they have some control..funny stuff..

OMG! That story had me in tears laughing lips! First off I turn that sh*t off.  The movement of the chair is annoying to me but to think that I'm in control of the bonus round! LMAOOOOOO No way I would've told him either. He was definitely living in a dream world of Willy Wonka.

I would have told him, but I would have also told Olaf that he would melt in summer.

lmaoooooooo cranders! Ahhhh i wished i could of video taped it but i would have been bounced on my ear if i did!

I'll keep my eye on some other gem characters and share them as they come along. Not sure that one could be topped cuz it was priceless!

Yeah even the latex gloves and surgical mask wearers don't hold a candle to that guy!

                Meeeyooww !  Froggy,  where's your sense of adventure?  "Turn that s*** off"  Oh,  HELL NO!!    Lips,  that story is too funny.    You don't even want to know what I'd do if I was there.    I'd probably  don a captain's hat  and recreate a scene from Titanic.  " Top of the World Ma....,er  Willy"  Hey,  I paid for the friggin voyage I'm going enjoy that cruise.    LMAO !

Whoa! I can't believe she slapped your hand. I don't blame you for telling her off. I'm sitting here trying to think of how I would react to that and I honestly have no idea.

Now that's crazy! It's just not worth it, dealing with such people I think. At least, you saved $20.

I know i have told this story once before here on the forum a long, long time ago but its worth mentioning again for the "meanest" player i have ever run across.

I went for an overnight stay at Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana. On this particular occasion of course i headed straight back to the farthest part of the casino floor for the Video Poker section.

Smoking was permitted and whenever i light one up i always try to be courteous and take note if the player on either side of me smokes and adjust my cigarette away from the non-smoker. This was a non-smoker from hell and no matter what i couldn't please this woman no matter what i did.

As soon as i lit up i placed my cigarette on the opposite side of where she was sitting and instantly she began waving her arms frantically. I was thinking oh boy i better think long and hard before i light another one with this woman sitting next to me.

I proceeded to play and ever time i took a puff she was getting more agitated twisting around in her seat, taking deep breaths, waving her arms and mumbling. Finally she couldn't take it anymore and complained profusely about the smoke.

I did say it was a smoking session and i was trying best as i could to keep the smoke away from her and the more i try to reason with her the worse she got. Now i am not opposed to standing up to someone that is giving me a difficult time but for some reason she made me very nervous and uncomfortable.

She went on and on until she said the worst possible thing anyone has ever said to me in my entire life.........."I hope you die from smoking" in the most evil tone and look on her face that i have ever seen. I was flabbergasted and it shook me to my core. It upset me so bad that i wanted to cry at such cruelty.

I know i should of nailed her right then and there......but have you ever been in such a horrible situation that is so bad it either stifles you or you are so angry you want to cry?

All i can say is Karma is a Bitch and she should really be careful what she wishes on other people cuz it could happen to her!

I haven't had such an extreme situation in a casino; I don't like to put myself or other people in uncomfortable situations, unless I'm really forced to do it. I'm a non-smoker and I prepare myself since I know I will have to deal with a cigarette smoke.

Now, what that woman said to you is just terrible. It doesn't matter how much I hate smoking I couldn't say (or even think) something like that to another person.

I would've knocked her off her chair for ya lips. Ooooh that's a mean nasty woman. She's obviously got issues and sometimes it's better to look the other way but that would tick me off.
