Ah I just noticed now I won 2nd ... tada. So just to recap... here is how I won.
Being blatantly honest with my reviews, critical of all free chips I get ( because they just don't seem to amount to much play time ) , literally and figuritively take nothing personally or seriously on this blog and ... um... oh the most important part of all... burn more trees than a California wildfire. That I think sums it up.

These contests are so much fun and i juSt wanted to say thank you again to Jack & Winaday & Slotland & blueday & MelissaN & LCB for all the time and generosity that goes into hosting this for us, We are often times undeserving. lolol!!
Last month it was discovered that I suffered a dissection in my carotid artery that resulted in 7 strokes and 7 days in ICU . This type of injury is different than what people most commonly associate with strokes, Simply put,the inside layer of my carotid artery separated from the outer layer-- forming a blood blister. The blister ruptured and a little army of tiny clots was swept away --- literally going with the flow until finally getting lodged in different parts of my brain. Subsequently, the oxygen supply was cut off to these areas of my brain. This is why the number of strokes is so unbelievably high. The clots didn't have the decency to find their final resting spot in sync with each other & every time it happened, the feeling was like a cartoon head explosion going off inside my head,The good news is that the damage to my brain tissue -- which left me blind in my left eye, and my vocal cords weakened (my boyfriend has found this to be quite humorous *rolls eyes) has already begun to heal. In instances where there is permanent damage, the process of redirecting the neuro pathways that interpret color has brought an entirely different view of the world to me. Colors are so pretty. In fact, as a result of this event my world is a much prettier place---both in the way I see the physical world and more importantly,in my appreciation for this life.
The last couple days have been rough though, as some of the symptoms leading up to my strokes have begun repeating themselves.
I'm going to skip giving a prediction this week. I wish you all the best of luck and promise a healthy return to next weeks contest!

No mês passado, descobriram que sofri uma dissecção na artéria carótida, o que resultou em 7 derrames e 7 dias na UTI. Esse tipo de lesão é diferente do que as pessoas mais comumente associam a derrames. Simplificando, a camada interna da minha artéria carótida se separou da camada externa, formando uma bolha de sangue. A bolha se rompeu e um pequeno exército de coágulos minúsculos foi varrido — literalmente indo com a correnteza até finalmente se alojarem em diferentes partes do meu cérebro. Posteriormente, o suprimento de oxigênio para essas áreas do meu cérebro foi cortado. É por isso que o número de derrames é tão inacreditavelmente alto. Os coágulos não tiveram a decência de encontrar seu ponto de descanso final em sincronia uns com os outros e, toda vez que isso acontecia, a sensação era como uma explosão de cabeça de desenho animado acontecendo dentro da minha cabeça. A boa notícia é que o dano ao meu tecido cerebral — que me deixou cega do olho esquerdo e minhas cordas vocais enfraquecidas (meu namorado achou isso bem engraçado *revira os olhos) — já começou a cicatrizar. Nos casos em que há danos permanentes, o processo de redirecionamento das vias neurais que interpretam as cores me trouxe uma visão de mundo completamente diferente. As cores são tão bonitas. Aliás, como resultado desse evento, meu mundo se tornou um lugar muito mais bonito — tanto na forma como vejo o mundo físico quanto, mais importante, na minha apreciação por esta vida.
Os últimos dias foram difíceis, pois alguns dos sintomas que levaram aos meus derrames começaram a se repetir.

I am just now getting home from a long day of Dr visits, the inevitable labwork,, and lastly the dreaded pharmacy wait. I found out earlier that I'm alergic to asprin. I'm covered in hives and it's made the day's joyless chores into uncomfortable joyless chores. I think the people at Sam;s Club thought I had fleas. (Or maybe they thought I had ants in my pants? lol! Poor folks...It couldn't have been easy to witness! )

I've been grounded from driving --which is a bummer. I'd rather be grounded from doing the laundry, tbh. But... maaaaybe........ If I am subtle....I could find a way to convince my boyfriend that laundry has an adverse affect on my asprin allergy! Anyone wanna lay down some odds? lmao! Wish me luck!

It's funny becuz I wanted so badly to be a nitpicker (lol), becuz all of a sudden something popped into my brain and i kept trying to put it into it's right perspective....So in my mind it's obsessing over and over and telling me "Oct. 18, wed. @midnite," and i came up with the same conclusion becuz it was @ midnite that it turned wed. the 18th.. and honestly the only reason i was hoping it stopped then is becuz I would have had a great guess
.. but now it's going down. i guessed 5598. I do remember something else though and it was somewhere in the rules or along the way about "the amount on Wed. at the closing of the day",so i guess that would clarify it.. My math skills are messin with my head right now , but i'm thinking that's like 11:59 pm on wed. . Yeah that sounds right.. It's frustrating for you Jack and Blue, but hey it's basicaly just workin out the bugs... i just hope it goes up a little by 11:59 pm LOL .. Thanks for everything you guys are doing for us. The outcome doesn't matter because I have to be grateful and I want you guys to know it. Positive reinforcement motivates you to hang in there and kinda make up for any kinda negativity in each of our days. So as long as I am here I will always try to show that I am grateful becuz u guys don't have to go above and beyond, but u choose to!!!! Minhas habilidades matemáticas estão bagunçando minha cabeça agora, mas estou pensando que são 23h59 na quarta-feira. Sim, parece certo. Well, Jack, I must have slept the wrong day/night.time zone, etc. whatever. I think I am in, for at least one of the last two spots, maybe not. I am so lost in time. I have no ideas why my mind was set on October 18th 12:00am, basically waiting for Tues, October 17th at 11:59pm.
. Had that been the case, I was very close to the top. At one time, only $.92 off. That's how I won the last two times, not expecting or expecting a different outcome. But it is clear now.

Bem, Jack, devo ter dormido no dia/noite errados, fuso horário errado, etc., sei lá. Acho que estou dentro, pelo menos em um dos dois últimos lugares, talvez não. Estou tão perdido no tempo. Não tenho ideia de por que minha mente estava decidida a 00h do dia 18 de outubro, basicamente esperando pela terça-feira, 17 de outubro, às 23h59. . Se fosse esse o caso, eu estaria muito perto do topo. Houve um tempo em que tive apenas US$ 0,92 de desconto. Foi assim que venci nas duas últimas vezes, sem esperar ou esperar um resultado diferente. Mas agora está claro.

If I've understood the previous posts, Jack is using coinbase BTC price at midnight on Wednesday from the various posts on here. I'm not 100% sure but it looks like $5627.85 is where its at [unoffically]. Does this appear correct?

I am so happy to take 1st becuz on Sun. my son and daughter came by and we decided to go to San Manuel Indian Casino.. Like 30 min. from here. They dropped me off and i left my phone in her car. I was devastated(lol) cuz i couldn't log into coinbase. I wanted to see the chart. I thought a little bit and just threw out my no. AND i got home like 10:30 my time so I was afraid I blew it, but it was still open!! The next day I realized you can see the charts without logging in. i have a few bucks in my account and havent picked up my phone yet, either..oh well .. P.S. KUDOS BACK AT YA JACK !!!

Meu filho e minha filha vieram e decidimos ir ao San Manuel Indian Casino. Tipo, 30 minutos daqui. Eles me deixaram e eu deixei meu telefone no carro dela. Fiquei arrasada (risos) porque não consegui entrar na Coinbase. Eu queria ver o gráfico. Pensei um pouco e simplesmente joguei meu número fora. E cheguei em casa tipo 10:30 do meu horário, então fiquei com medo de ter estragado tudo, mas ainda estava aberto!! No dia seguinte, percebi que você pode ver os gráficos sem fazer login.
