I had a crush on Bill Bixby from "My favorite Martian". (you may know him as David Banner from The Incredible Hulk) I was maybe 6 or 7 and was alone in the house. My mom and my brother were in the "office" and the "apartment"- a few yards behind where my bedroom was, so it wasn't like I was left home alone.
I was watching the show on TV, which was on top of some kind of table or stand, and got really brave and went up and kissed the TV screen Bill Bixby on his lips! Then the TV fell on top of me!!!! I was still standing, with this damn TV on top of me, scared to death not only that I would drop it and break it, but that I'd have to tell someone what I was doing to make the TV fall. I started yelling my lungs out "MOM!""Michael!""MOM!". It took about 5 minutes, but seemed longer before my mom came in and rescued me. She thought my brother was attacking me somehow since I was screaming his name, so was relieved to see me there with my arms around the TV set, unharmed. I'm sure she asked me what happened to make the TV fall on top of me, and I'm pretty sure if she did I said "I don't know!"
Eu tinha uma queda pelo Bill Bixby, de "Meu Marciano Favorito". (Você talvez o conheça como David Banner, de O Incrível Hulk). Eu tinha uns 6 ou 7 anos e estava sozinho em casa. Minha mãe e meu irmão moravam no "escritório" e no "apartamento" — alguns metros atrás do meu quarto, então não era como se eu estivesse sozinho em casa.
Eu estava assistindo ao programa na TV, que estava em cima de uma espécie de mesa ou suporte, e tomei muita coragem, subi e beijei a tela do Bill Bixby nos lábios ! Aí a TV caiu em cima de mim!!!! Eu ainda estava de pé, com aquela maldita TV em cima de mim, morrendo de medo não só de deixá-la cair e quebrá-la, mas também de ter que contar a alguém o que eu estava fazendo para que a TV caísse. Comecei a gritar a plenos pulmões: "MÃE!", "Michael!", "MÃE!". Demorou uns 5 minutos, mas pareceu mais tempo, até minha mãe entrar e me salvar. Ela achou que meu irmão estava me atacando de alguma forma, já que eu estava gritando o nome dele, então ficou aliviada ao me ver ali, com os braços em volta da TV, ilesa. Tenho certeza de que ela me perguntou o que aconteceu para a TV cair em cima de mim, e tenho quase certeza de que, se perguntou, eu disse: "Não sei!".
