  Been doing some informative reading again from "Gaming Guru John Robison." Here is another myth put to rest.
**You can control the outcome of the reels by stopping the reels yourself

        According to John, stopping the reels has no effect on the outcome. The outcome has already been chosen by polling the RNG (Randon Number Generator) after you hit the spin button. Stopping the reels yourself will only make the machine display the already determined outcome more quickly.
    I dont know about you but I did not know this. I truely thought if you stopped them yourself you were getting a different combination of numbers/symbols. I hope this helps others who might of thought the same thing. Silly me, thinking I had an edge.                                            All in Fun:      PMM2008

         The machine selects three random numbers. These are chosen from a random number generator that is constantly drawing random numbers at a rate of thousands per second. The numbers chosen at the moment the play is initiated, are the ones used to determine the final outcome. In other words the outcome is predestined the moment you spin the reels. Almost instantly after the player presses spin, the machine has determined where the reels are going to stop. It then lets them spin a few seconds for entertainment value and then will stop exactly where programmed to.
         
Multi-line slots, both with physical as well as video display reels do not have weighted reels. The  process is the same as above. In video display slots, representations of actual reels are used, which can be quite large, 60 symbols or more.


            Just a little more information on this topic I found interesting. Each and every second those number combinations are changing.  Yet stopping the reels yourself is only bringing up the pre determined combination fatser.

I kinda anticipated that by stopping the reels would have the same out come. I have stopped the reels...and i really dont like to do it. Part of the fun is watching what comes up on each line...waiting with baited breath that you will get that bonus!

Money can go too fast when you are playing as it is...I'd rather savior the moment!

i was playing the game easy street at a land based casino,and i noticed a few times when i hit the bonus round that a $ amount would flash real quickly before i even played the bonus game....turns out that was the same exact amount that i won after the bonus game was finished, so i now believe that then you play bonus games, and your pondering over which "one, or ones" to pick whatever the case my be in your bounus round that the outcome will be the same no matter what you pick...i think everything is already predetermined including stopping the reels on your own! 

I didn't know this.  No matter,I have never been one to stop the wheels.  Always try to make my money last...LOL

that's soooo true....stopping the reels myself made me loose $20.00 in 10 seconds flat! i think if i'm gonna loose i'd rather $20. last me at least 2 mins. lol
