I'm at home today enjoying the sun and the landline phone rings. I answer and after a slight pause the person starts talking. They introduced that they are from Rich casino, as soon as they mentioned a casino I told them never to phone again and hung up.
I know casino spam comes with gambling unfortunately but this is a bit different to the norm. In all my years of gambling I have never given my landline phone number to casinos primarily because I can't block the number on my landline phone but can on my mobile.
This means that without a doubt, they have probably purchased my number from someone that isn't a casino.
I looked up Rich casino and it seems like they are a rogue casino running topgame software. It bugs me that since they are rogue, theres a higher chance they will sell my details to another corrupt company who will sell to another.
Rant over. The odd mobile phone spam text or call I can deal with, but marketing calls to the landline phone are a different thing. I am registered with the TPS too but I don't think that applies to them as they are located overseas
